Account Executive – Communications


Black Tomato Agency is a dedicated group events and prize incentive agency. We produce and deliver groundbreaking group travel experiences all over the world as well as creating and managing award-winning prize experiences on behalf of some of the world’s top brands, agencies and companies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and organised individual to join Agency Groups as an Account Executive in our Communications team.

  • Salary: £19-22k + annual bonus and benefits

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be involved in every step of our communications offering; from identity creation, proposal submission, pre-event engagement, onsite branding to post-event legacy
  • Working on a wide range of campaigns and different clients to positively deliver exciting and creative work across digital, print and branding
  • Contribute inspiring ideas and innovative solutions to enhance the incentives we deliver for our clients
  • Managing the sourcing, collation and delivery of travel packs and merchandise ensuring end results are relevant and cost-effective
  • Be actively involved in new pitch ideas plus supporting on the production of proposal decks and launch videos
  • Assist in research, creation, contracting and delivery including liaising directly with designers, copywriters, suppliers and printers
  • You may get the chance to travel overseas to support in the setup and delivery of our most engaging communications incentives

What you can bring to the team:

  • Strong organisational skills, able to multi-task and prioritise a dynamic workload
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agency ideally in the creative or incentive industry
  • Confident communicator and able to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, team oriented approach with a creative and collaborative attitude
  • A creative eye and the ability to brief and critique design work
  • Excellent time management skills to work within agreed timeframes and meet tight deadlines
  • Understanding of how to tailor solutions to different audiences, timelines and delivery practicalities
  • Professional working style with excellent attention to detail in written and design work to ensure high-quality work is always delivered
  • Ability to understand finance budgets and be actively involved in the generation and management of these through the life cycle of a project
  • High proficiency and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

Added extras:

  • Design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A solid understanding of design trends and creative themes
  • Personal credibility and confidence to challenge and influence results
  • WordPress or similar CMS knowledge and experience
  • Video edit-production experience
